Organ Transplants? Recipients of any type of organ transplant should not use the AcuMat.

External Pacemaker? Anyone with an external pacemaker should not use the AcuMat.

Use with caution (43°c (109°f), or no heat at all:

While taking medication
When someone has a fever
With joint injuries
With immobility issues
When sensitivity to heat
With babies/children (It’s not recommended under 6 months of age and to always have adult supervision.)
Use with low heat, 43°c (109°f) or below, for the following:

Adrenal suppression disorders
Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
Multiple Sclerosis
Brain tumor
Bypass surgery
Diabetics
High blood pressure or Hypertension
Pregnancy
Currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy
Surgical implants
For anything listed above, it’s also not recommended to use the AcuMat for more than 60 minutes. Discontinue use if you experience pain or any worsened condition.
